Caribbean cuisine is influenced by many cultures. Curries are a staple in Trinidad and Jamaica due to the influence of Indian immigrants who brought exotic spice blends, curries, and chutneys. Curried goat is a popular dish in Jamaica. Caribbean curry powders are less spicy than their Indian counterparts and may deviate from traditional recipes.
